The International Association for Statistical Education is pleased to announce the establishment of an IASE awards program. Three awards - Lifetime Achievement, Advocacy in Statistics Education, and Early Career - will be presented at ICOTS in 2026. Nominations for the awards, will be open from October 15, 2025, through January 16, 2026.
The nomination packet for each award consists of the following:
- Contact information for the person being nominated and the person making the nomination as requested in the nomination form,
- A Curriculum Vitae for the nominee,
- Two letters of reference that focus primarily on the contributions of the individual, their importance, and impact,
- Description of importance and impact of the contributions (max 1000 words) explaining the contributions of the nominee to the field.
Email the completed form and related materials to Gail Burrill, Chair IASE Awards Committee at burrill@msu.edu by no later than January 16, 2026. Please note that a person cannot be nominated for more than one award by the same nominator.
